Suzuki Top for UK Automotive Customer Satisfaction

Suzuki has once again emerged as the top automotive brand in the bi-annual UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI). Conducted by the Institute of Customer Service, the car manufacturer was up against 26 automotive brands, but remained triumphant.

  • What is the UK Customer Satisfaction Index?

The UKCSI serves as a vital gauge of customer satisfaction, reflecting sentiment across the nation. Over 10,000 customers participated in the 2023 survey, rating their interactions with companies in 13 different sectors, including the automotive industry.

The 2023 index evaluated customer satisfaction across five dimensions: encompassing experience, customer ethos, emotional connection (including trust) and ethics. Another key metric includes the Net Promotor Score (NPS). This is used to calculate the likelihood of respondents recommending a brand to others.

  • Success for Suzuki

Since January 2019, Suzuki has secured the first position in the automotive UKCSI an impressive seven times. And now they have proudly claimed the 2023 title.

Suzuki's outstanding performance resulted in them achieving a score of 82.3 from the participants. Therefore, successfully surpassing the average score of all 26 automotive brand competitors. This prestigious ranking showcases Suzuki's commitment to their customers.

Having achieved a Net Promotor recommendation score of 36, Suzuki outperformed both the automotive sector average of 30.1 and the all sector average of 216.

Takanori Suzuki, Managing Director of Suzuki GB, said: "We are very proud of our achievement to once again be in first position in the automotive sector of UKCSI which further reinforces Suzuki as the number one automotive brand for trust. Consistent evolution of the Suzuki customer experience remains a core focus for us and the ongoing efforts of our staff and dealer network has once again really paid off."

He added "Without the support of our nationwide dealer network, and the hundreds of people that work tirelessly for the brand to deliver exceptional standards for our customers we could not have delivered such a fantastic result. I would like to again congratulate everyone who has played a part to attain yet another excellent achievement in customer satisfaction."

Suzuki also went head to head against 259 organisations who were outside of the motor industry. Across all the other organisations measured across various sectors, Suzuki claimed the 22nd position overall.

  • UK's Automotive Customer Satisfaction Champion

Suzuki's consistent excellence in delivering exceptional standards highlights why it remains a top choice for automotive enthusiasts in the UK. With their customer-centric approach, Suzuki continues to set the benchmark for the industry, raising the bar for all automotive brands.
